Kiln Dried Logs
Kiln dried logs are dried to an average moisture content of 20% and are recommended for immediate burning on all wood burning appliances.
These logs provide the ultimate clean burn with maximum heat output.
Kiln Dried Chunky Logs
These kiln dried logs are dried to an average moisture content of 30% and are recommended for immediate burning on large open fires or large stoves.
Seasoned Logs
Seasoned logs are naturally air dried to an average moisture content of 30-50% and by the nature of the process, will vary between logs and species.
Blaze Away Logs
Blaze Away heat logs are produced from pure woodchip with no additives.
Log Store
The log store provides the perfect storage solution for your logs whether storing kiln dried logs or further drying seasoned wood.
The store has an open front with slatted sides for maximum airflow through the logs.
Briquettes
Briquettes are the size of a small wood log but are clean, dry and more reliable.
They will burn for up to an hour with a bright orange flame, then glow for up to another two hours.
Nuggets
A similar size to coal and coke, nuggets have a large surface area making them easy to light.
Unlike coal, nuggets are clean, dry and easy to handle. They don't smoke like wood or logs and burn out completely leaving less ash for easier cleaning.
Pellets
Use pellets to efficiently heat buildings and reduce your carbon footprint at the same time. Pellets are a comletely sustainable alternative to wood or fossil fuels such as coal.
These pellets are between 10 and 20 mm long and have a dryness rating of 91%.
Wood Pellets
Wood Pellets are produced from pure woodchip and sawdust which is a bi-product of round wood timber manufacturer.
Homefire
Homefire has long been regarded as the market leader and widely acknowledged as the best smokeless fuel for open fires and multi-fuel stoves.
Homefire generates a lot of heat and leaves behind very little ash. It combines all the traditional qualities of a real fire, is slow burning and easy to control. What’s more, it produces a fraction of the smoke and less carbon dioxide than coal.
Homefire Ovals
Homefire Ovals is a cost-effective, clean-burning smokeless fuel that will pack together tightly in your fire. The result? Maximum heat output and minimum waste.
Homefire Ovals are made to very strict standards of consistency. So you can be sure that whenever you light a fire it will burn steadily and with the same brightness for many hours. Indeed, it is not unusual for a Homefire Ovals fire to last for up to nine hours.
Phurnacite
If you run a roomheater, cooker or boiler, you’ll almost certainly know Phurnacite. The brand is Britain’s most popular smokeless fuel for closed appliances. Its popularity is well deserved.
Phurnacite is a hard, compact briquette with excellent heat output. It out-performs many other briquetted fuels and burns slowly. Indeed, if you bank the fuel, Phurnacite will burn steadily (slumber) for over 18 hours in the right conditions.
Taybrite
Taybrite is a multi-purpose smokeless fuel which offers value for money. The fuel works equally effectively in roomheaters, boilers and multi-fuel stoves – burning highly efficiently to reduce the cost.
Taybrite is easy to light, burns cleanly and provides long-lasting controllable heat. The fuel will burn at a steady heat for long periods – even overnight.
ecoal
ecoal is the country's first manufactured smokeless fuel to use 30% of its raw materials from renewable resources. These renewable materials come from plants that absorb much of the carbon dioxide that is released when solid fuel burns.
This makes ecoal much kinder to the environment than other coal based smokeless fuels. ecoal, being smokeless, emits only a fifth of the smoke compared to ordinary house coal and burns efficiently with an attractive flame for longer periods.
Wildfire
Wildfire is often described as the first supercoal. Using the latest briquetting technology. Developed from specially selected deep mined coal, it offers all the desirable qualities of a household coal but with the consistent performance of a scientifically produced briquetted fuel. It burns with the same glowing intensity as house coal but for much longer.
Easy and clean to handle, only wildfire is made from a mix of two different sized manufactured briquettes which enhances it's natural coal fire appearance.
Wildfire is not authorised for use in smoke control areas.
Kindling
Kiln dried kindling wood has an average moisture content of 12% and is perfect for lighting fires, particularly when used with Flamers.
Flamers
Flamers natural firelighters are untreated, wax dipped fine wood shavings.
